Repeal of the Afffordable Care Act

The Palm Beach Post had a great article in this morning's paper about Wednesday's vote casting by the U.S. House of Representatives to repeal the Affordable Care Act.  The vote was 245-189 that approved the "Repealing the Job Killing Health Care Law Act."  To read this article, just follow the link below:

Health Insurance

Health Insurance is one of those words that more and more people are not excited to hear.  A good amount of businesses and individuals relate these words to expenses rising, benefits lowering, hours spent trying to make sure your doctor, pharmacy, and operations are covered, etc.  I, however, see the words "health insurance" and see opportunity--opportunity for businesses to encourage highly qualified individuals to join and stay with their company, opportunity for me to use my creative juices and knowledge to help clients lower/maintain their costs while providing excellent benefits, and opportunity for everyone to help to prevent serious health issues.

Health insurance is my life.  This blog was formed to help you understand health insurance but also to help you see the wonderful positive side in maintaining good health.  But I am sure you are now wondering who I am and where I came from.  I am a GATOR Alumni, I love cooking, just started my very own herb garden, I love going to the gym, spending time with my Yorkie, helping with the Palm Beach Gator Club, and I am a Health Insurance Consultant for PrimeGroup Insurance (PGI).

Each week I plan on keeping you current with local health insurance issues as they relate to the Health Reform, provide you with great tips on becoming and staying healthy, how to find a good insurance plan for you, and of course anything else related to your health.
